OASE Biotec 4
Biomechanical Filter

·The
Biotec 4 is a UV-resistant, 4-step filter providing
both mechanical and biological filtration.
The mechanical process is carried out by structured
foam, large-surface-area plastic and mineral
media, the biological process through naturally
occuring bacteria. Biotec filters can be mounted
above ground or partially buried, with easy
cleaning and service throught the full top
hatch. The Biotec 4 is designed to accomodate
the addition of a Bitron 9 UV clarifier (mounts
directly inside the filter).

OASE Biotec 5
Biomechanical Filter

· The
Biotec 5, 10 & 30 are UV-resistant, multi-chamber
filtration systems that provides both mechanical
and biological filtration. The mechanical process
is carried out by various structured foam media,
the biological process through naturally occuring
bacteria. The separate chambers allow the active
bacteria to individually thrive while consuming
Ammonia and Nitrite in order to maintain a
healthy pond eco-system. The Biotec filters
are specifically designed for easy cleaning
and maintenance. The pollution indicator in
the lid signals when it is time to service
the filter. A water temperature indicator is
also included.

OASE Aquapur 18
Drum Pressure Filter
|
· Used
with a Nautilus 10, 30 or 45 fountain pump,
the pump pushes water into the bottom intake
of the drum. Water is sprayed to the top of
the pressure fit lid and then forced downward
through the filter pad and 12" of granulate.
Beneficial bacteria living in the granulate
consume the pond impurities as they pass through.
Water returns to the pond from the bottom of
the drum by way of stream or waterfall.
· Filter Granulate contains special minerals that provide habitat
for bacteria that clarify the water.
· Biologically and mechanically clears ponds up to 4800 gallons.
· Drum filter can be placed in the pond or outside the pond.

OASE Skimmer IP-200
In-Pond Skimmer
|
· The
IP-200 Pond Skimmer skims floating debris from
the surface of the pond. The Unique design
allows the skimmer to be located anywhere inside
the pond. This feature makes the IP-200 an
excellent choice for retro-fit to an existing
pond. The skimmer base is anchored by small
stones while the skimmer itself naturally adjusts
to varying water levels up to 5 inches. The
IP-200 Skimmer was designed for use with the
Powermax Pump but may be used with other pumps
flowing 800 to 4000 gallons per hour.

OASE BioSys OP-300
External Pond Skimmer
|
· The
OP-300 Pond Skimmer also skims floating debris
from the surface of the pond. The fish-safe
bellows inlet allows fish to escape should
they venture into the skimmer. The Debris Net
and Filter Mat design insure maximum filtration
to prevent pumps from clogging. This unique
out-of-pond system keeps the pump and filtration
outside of the pond for simple maintenance.
An optional rock-shaped lid is available to
help camoflage the unit. The OP-300 is also
designed to accommodate a bottom drain system
to remove sinking debris and fish waste from
the bottom of the pond.

UV Clarifier

Bitron 9 keeps the pond water clear by using
ultraviolet rays to floculate algae for removal
by the filter. UV clarifiers are the most effective
means of controlling algae in the pond.

to fish and plant life.

- from -40° F to 175° F - and contains no plasticizers which can
