Coast Waterworks Irrigation & Ponds was formed in the fall of 1996 in Victoria, BC, Canada by long-time chums, Rob Washington and Warren Kennedy.

Warren had been doing landscaping, micro-irrigation and pond work for 8 years and Rob had been working in the construction and drainage for 7 years. The two formed a partnership and a company was born.

In 2001, Rob left the company to realize a dream he had nurtured since high school of opening his own Karate School here in Victoria. Warren continues to operate Coast Waterworks with the help of '1st Mate' Steve Baker and the rest of his trusty crew.

At Coast Waterworks, our goal is to promote beauty in the landscape through the control of something that can be our most precious resource, or sometimes our worst nemesis - water.

Whether we are bringing water to feed a garden, taking it away when it swamps a basement or trapping it in a garden pond, the path to this goal is through commitment to quality and a meticulous and conscientious approach to our work.
